Creative Bride - Wedding Photography Competition Winners

Back in April I ran a competition to search for a creative bride to be, with the prize being free wedding photography. I love photographing any kind of wedding with all the emotions, excitement and occasional mayhem! but I particulary love a wedding that is a bit quirky, unique and personal. 

When Clare emailed me details of her wedding I was pretty sold already. The reception will be decorated with homemade tablecloths & runners using reclaimed 70’s fabrics and Clare's collection of retro 60’s & 70’s tea sets. Throw in a VW camper called Dolly and white Dr Marten boots for the bride and it's all sounding delicious...... When I met up with Adam & Clare as competition shortlisters their warmth, humour and appreciation for creative photography shone through and told me I’d found my winners. Haworth Art Gallery Wedding

What do you get if you mix a bit of Etta James, John Cooper Clarke, Al Green and a vintage camper van. You get a flavour of Katie and Micks wedding. Add in some surprise singing from the groom and a brilliant soul and funk band and you get an even better idea that this day was amazing. It was an absolute pleasure to document their wedding day.
The wedding ceremony was held at the Haworth Art Gallery Accrington, followed by an evening reception at Accrington Town Hall. Here's just a few of my favourite photos from the day x
