Jon & Lucy's Wedding, Brockholes Nature Reserve, Preston Sat 12th April 2014

After our engagement shoot in March I knew I was going to have a great time shooting Jon & Lucy's wedding - and I was not wrong! Lucy wore an amazing vintage wedding dress from Vintage Lane Bridal Boutique http://www.vintagelanebridal.com/ accessorised with a beautiful colourful flower crown. The colour pop theme continued with the bridesmaids dresses and made for some great colour photographs. Despite the gale force wind conditions in the middle of the afternoon (when we were scheduled to take the groups / formals) we managed to get the groups done but had to abandon the bridal party shots half way through due to unworkable conditions. But, later in the evening when the wind and rain had disappeared we re-took the bridal party & couple shots. The added benefit of which was that the light was also much softer and warmer. The British weather might challenge us but it never beats us! Jon, Lucy and all their family and friends were so much fun to work with I had a brilliant day. Here are some of my favourite shots x
